Additional Information:

• No fasting required. Eat & drink normally and take all medications as prescribed by your doctor.
• You must inform us if:
  - You are planning to work as a doctor, nurse or paramedic in Australia
  - You are planning to apply for a Permanent Residency (PR) visa in the future
• Pregnant applicants with a gestation of less than 14 weeks are not allowed to undergo the X-ray component of the examination. A physician will discuss available options on the day of examination. Applicants are also encouraged to seek advice from their obstetrician.
• Applicants under 16 years of age are required to present with a family member or guardian.
• If you would like the results of the medical to be used for another Australian visa application, you must inform your visa officer before attending the medical. Wahab Medical staff cannot assist you with this.
• All completed medicals are submitted directly to the Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA) via the eMedical system.
• Applicants who are aged under 18 years old, or have an intellectual or physical disability, will be allowed to present with a guardian. All other applicants are not allowed an accompanying family member or friend.
